A.L.I. (A Living Instrument™) Assemblies
The Short Version.
Every child is a living instrument, born with a voice worth using. That's the idea behind A.L.I.™ Assemblies — live vocal performance, movement, and student participation built into a science-meets-music assembly that supports SEL, confidence, and teamwork, aligned with music curriculum. Kids don't sit and watch. They're up, singing, moving, answering.
Teachers have told us it's one of the most energizing assemblies they've seen. Kids are buzzing after it.
A.L.I.™ Assemblies are built on the same philosophy as The Living Instrument™, Angela Kristine's adult vocal coaching methodology — the belief that every person is a living, breathing, thinking, feeling, walking, talking instrument - designed to sing. Same person, same body of work, twenty years running.
How it Works.
Format — One 30–40 minute assembly. (A multi-session series is possible for schools that want a deeper unit — ask if that's a fit.)
Grades — TK through 6th, all in the room together, all engaged.
What we bring — Full lesson content, materials and handouts, PA coordination.
What you provide — Floor space for kids to gather and move; (optional - a PA if you have one ready).
Who's teaching — Angela Kristine: conservatory-trained vocalist, 20 years coaching, based right here in SLO County. A local, not a touring outside act.
After the assembly — Two months of follow-up access for teachers or students with questions.

This isn't a touring act passing through. Angela Kristine is a local SLO County educator, and A Living Instrument™ is invited back, not just booked once — currently returning annually to San Benito Elementary and Bellevue Santa Fe Charter School, two years running. It supports SEL, ties directly into music curriculum, and it's built to be fully interactive from the first minute. No kid sits this one out.
